“Play is often talked about as if it were a relief from serious learning. But for children, play is serious learning” – Mr. Rogers. At All Bright Learners we practice the belief that children learn best through hands on experiences and through the serious business of play. Through imaginative play, group activities, and structured games, your child will gain knowledge in areas such as language, math, science, problem-solving, communication, emotional regulation and motor skills.
Have you ever had a coach or a teacher who constantly focused on the negative? You probably walked away feeling really crummy about yourself and not loving whatever sport or class you were in. At All Bright Learners Ms. Amy uses positive reinforcement. Throughout the day your child will be hearing: “thanks so much for cleaning that up right when I asked”, “wow, I love how Johnny is sitting so quietly right now”, “I see I have Johnny’s eyes on me, and Sarah’s eyes on me”. As Mrs. Amy is constantly noticing the good in your student, it makes it easier to correct a negative behavior when needed.
What does every educator and parent wish for? Smaller class sizes! At All Bright Learners that dream is a reality! A small class size has so many benefits! One big benefit that comes from smaller class sizes is personalized attention. Ms. Amy is able to meet with the students weekly to work one on one. A small class size also allows Ms. Amy to get to know your student as an individual. She will know their interests, likes, dislikes, where they are at developmentally and provide them with the support that they need in every assignment.
